Your reaction toward your parents influences God’s reaction towards you. In the Ten Commandments, the commandment to honor your parents was the first to be followed by a promise.
Carefully consider any advice your parents give you. Honor it. Contribute to their life. Take their opinions seriously. It will be forever written on the mind of God.
