Choose Your Friends Carefully

Your companions and contacts will unleash your possibilities or stifle your dream. Discern motives. Name the relationship for what it really is.

Friendships are based on mutual interests or mutual problems. Be sure you know the difference. Jesus had two types of friends: those who ministered to Him, such as Mary and Martha, and those who received His ministry to them, such as Zaccheus.

“I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.”

(Psalms 119:63)

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”

(1 Corinthians 15:33)

“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

(Proverbs 17:17)
