Do not drag yesterday into your future. Perhaps you have just been fired from your job. Do not major on your feelings of rejection. Instead, point out the possibility of promotion and changes of freedom that suddenly may emerge.
Nurture the photograph of possibilities within your heart. Elijah gave the widow of Zarephath a picture of her potential. It stirred her expectations of a miracle harvest in her life.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
